Cycling - Paris versus Bradford

During the Easter holidays Helen and I went on a short city break to Paris to celebrate our twentieth wedding anniversary (last year) with our best friends Steph and Chris also celebrating twenty years. Chris and I had a go on the Velib system - here I am struggling to get the bike out the gate. We cycled down the Champs Elysees to the oldest bridge Pont Neuf and along the Seine. All in the sunshine. The last two days I have cycled half way home from Bradford to Queensbury having coasted to work in the morning also in the sun. Not quite the same journey though. The Eiffel tower wasn't open due to a strike - plus ca change! And here are the two beers that cost 34 Euros excluding tip after the moulin rouge.
